Big Liar
Big Brother is a Big Liar
You’re the big brother, enjoying your game… until your little brother wants to play too.
The problem? It’s a single-player game.
So you hand him an unplugged controller and pretend he’s playing with you. Now you must keep the illusion alive. Match the buttons he presses, manage his expectations, and keep his suspicion low.
Sync your actions with his inputs to earn powerful bonuses like triple jump and extended dash. But if he realizes the controller isn’t connected, the game is over.

Interesting game idea and use of the theme.
One thing that was a bit unclear for me was if the game would give me instructions to use the D-pad or if I was supposed to do that on my own and just press the button corresponding with "A" or "B" on my gamepad when they shows up?
On my xbox compatible gamepad (8BitDo), the hardware X button produces a B and the hardware B button produces a A in the game. Is this because the game was calibrated for a different type of gamepad?
Yes, I was using a SNES clone gamepad for the development, I just implement the gamepad in the last hour of the gamejam so I don't have much time to fine tune the logic lol
